TvShowsonDVD reports that Shout! Factory now has the rights to Saban’s 700-episode library of Power Rangers for DVD releases, which will begin this summer.

After years of waiting, Ranger fans finally have the possibility of a complete collection on home video. Not just an imported foreign language-region version with holes and glitches… we hope. :/

Let us also hope that DVD sales remain strong beyond the first couple releases to actually warrant the complete library getting produced and distributed. I won’t be amused if “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” sells 29378492837-trillion copies and “Power Rangers Zeo” sells 4, and they just decide to cancel the whole damn project.
