Hypocrisy, or, Why I frequently can’t deal with the Doctor Who fandom

Doctor & Rose things → [2/8] Handholding
The first nineteen years of my life, nothing happened. Nothing at all, not ever. And then I met a man called the Doctor. A man who could change his face. He took me away from home in his magical machine. He showed me the whole of time and space. I thought it would never end.
What Rose brings to the Doctor’s life is completion, it’s completing a circle – he’s male, he’s alien, he’s a traveller. Between the two of them together they complement each other and discover each other. And are in love with each other, absolutely, unashamedly, unreservedly. - Russell T. Davies
